The Alex Carlsson Memorial Golf Day is about remembering and honouring our friend Alex.
Alex was loyal, generous with his time and a great friend, partner and son. He was loved by so many people, and he is missed every day.
Each year, the day brings together friends, family, clients, local businesses and the wider community — many of whom knew Alex personally, and others who have come to understand why he meant so much to the people around him.
It is a day to spend time together, share stories, enjoy the golf and raise money for causes that matter.
The event has continued to grow each year, but the reason we do it has never changed.
It is about Alex, the friendships he built, the people he brought together and making sure we continue to honour him in a way that feels true to who he was.

How the day
runs.
The Alex Carlsson Memorial Golf Day is an Ambrose event played in teams of four, with the full course dedicated to the event for the day.
Registration opens at 7:30am, with coffee available on arrival and breakfast served from 7:45am before the 9:00am tee off.
Across the course there will be Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin competitions, both included in your team registration, along with the chance to win $20,000 for a hole-in-one. There will also be a Best Dressed prize, so teams are welcome to make an effort. Hole-in-One prize entry is not included in the team registration fee.
Lunch begins from 1:30pm, with all golfers expected back by 2:00pm. Presentations, prize giving, the raffle and auction commence at 2:30pm before the event concludes at 4:00pm.
The day keeps going after the final hole. Everyone comes back together in the full entertaining area for lunch, drinks, presentations, raffles, the auction and the rest of the afternoon — and you don't need to be playing golf to be part of it. A Spectator Ticket is $125 including GST per person and covers lunch, the post-golf event and a two-hour drinks package. Spectators are expected from approximately 1:30pm, with the exact timing dependent on when golf finishes on the day.
